Beach WA 1651 is a 100 m long strip of mangrove-fringed high tide sand located on the southern side of a 100 m wide tidal creek and fronted by the deep tidal channel. It is the northern part of a 1 km long beach ridge, the remainder of which is now encased in mangroves.
