Beach WA 828 extends north of the power station groyne for 1.2 km to the next groyne, which has induced a 100 m offset in the shoreline, as sand has accumulated on its northern side. The beach is backed by a low grassy dunes reserve, with access to the southern end off Robb Road. The reserve has been redeveloped as a passive recreation area, which includes picnic and bar-b-que areas and historic sites, including the old Robb Jetty Abattoir.
