Beach WA 814 is wedged between the northern side of the jetty and a 200 m long groyne/water intake unit. The three beaches (WA 812-814) all face west-southwest and receive low waves. They are steep and narrow and backed by a strip of low vegetated beach, then the perimeter road and refinery.
