Beach WA 1915 is a low energy section of a 100 m wide curving sandy recurved spit located on the western side of the 400 m wide Ridley River mouth (Fig. 4.407). The beach extends west from the mangroves-fringed river channel for 500 m, with tidal flats widening to several hundred metres. A vehicle track crosses four inner spits that extend 5 km inland and then follows the salt flats along the river channel to reach the beach.
