Beach WA 1895 is located amongst the western mangroves, immediately west of the boat ramp, groyne and large car park, which cuts across the original beach. It is a 200 m long high tide sandy beach, with a few mangroves along the front, then 200 m wide sand flats that narrow to the west into the main tidal channel and port area. The main port road and buildings back the beach.
