Beach WA 223 is an east-facing 100 m long strip of high tide sand located in amongst the rocks that from the boundary with beach WA 222. It is backed by 10 m high vegetated dunes, with vehicle access to either end. The highest point of the dune is known as Emu Hill. Immediately north is a 70 m long pocket of sand
