WA 214, a curving, more protected, east-facing, 700 m long beach. Waves are lowered by refraction around the point and some inshore reefs, and surge up a steep reflective beach face. Both beaches are backed by 20 m high scarped dunes. Munglinup is a relatively popular beach area as it is one of the few accessible beaches along this section of coast. In addition to 2WD access, it has a car park, a small camping reserve with water and amenities, beach vehicle access and boat launching from the beach. While the beach faces due south it is protected from the swell by a near continuous beachrock reef lying 50-100 m off the beach, with a usually calm lagoon between the reef and steep beach.
