Beach WA 221 extends for 1.7 km due west of the foreland (Fig. 4.59). The entire beach is fronted by scattered shallow reefs, with deeper reef offshore. These lower waves to about 1 m, producing a continuous low tide terrace, inter-fingering with the reef, and some small rips against the reef. The entire beach is backed by a steep vegetated 10 m high foredune, then 500 m wide scrub covered dunes.
