Beach WA 799 continues to curve north of the foreland for 2.5 km to the next gentle foreland located in lee of Bird Island, with a shallow sand ridge running 400 m out to the island. The beach is relatively steep and reflective, with seagrass meadows growing to the shore along much of the beach. It is backed by a 50 m wide foredune, which increases in height to the north, a central car park, road and then the houses of Peron in the south and a 1 km long series of holiday camps in the centre-north off Memorial Drive.
