Wanneroo Beach (WA 889) commences on the northern side of the breakwater and continues north for 3.2 km to the next bluffs. Low swell and reflective beach conditions usually prevail along this section of beach, with a bar and rips occurring only during and following periods of higher waves. There is a 1km stretch of dog beach which runs between Camira Way and Waterland Point carpark.

Swimming

Quinns Rocks-Wanneroo beaches have a relatively low hazard rating with usually low waves and few rips. However the beach can be steep, with deep water just off the beach, so care is required with young children and non-swimmers.

Surfing

Waves are usually too low and the surf zone too narrow to produce rideable waves.
