Beach (WA 418) is a 300 m long strip of high tide sand and parallel beachrock reef. Waves averaging over 1.5 m break over a 50 m wide sand bar, then the reef. The reef forms the shoreline along the eastern half of the beach, and lies 10-30 m offshore along the western half, where a permanent rip drains the 70 m wide surf zone.
