Beach WA 412 is an 800 m long beach wedged in between calcarenite capped-granite points and backed by steep scarped calcarenite rising to 150 m. The beach receive slightly reduced waves averaging about 1.5 m, which maintain a 50 m wide surf zone breaking across both sand and a discontinuous beachrock reef. Four reef-controlled rips drain the surf.
