Beach WA 434 is a 100 m long pocket of sand located at the western end of the calcarenite cliffs, which continue for 3.5 km west of Bornholm beach. The beach is backed and bordered by 50 m high cliffs and littered in cliff debris. It receives waves averaging about 2 m, which break across a 150 m wide surf zone, including a beachrock reef, with one strong rip draining out the western side of the small embayment. A steep foot track leads down the western slopes to the beach. The Lowlands beaches (WA 435 & 436) are located 500 m to the west and share a 700 m wide southeast-facing, semi-circular embayment the northern beach.
