Beach WA 437 is located 1.5 km northwest of Knapp Head and is a 250 m long strip of sand at the base of 150 m high cliffs and steep slopes, with a near continuous beachrock reef lying 10-40 m offshore. Waves, averaging over 2 m break on the reef and reform in the lee ‘lagoon’ to reach the beach as lower waves. A strong permanent rip drains out the eastern end of the lagoon. There is no safe foot access to the beach.
