WA 435 is a 100 m long pocket of sand wedged in a small south-facing embayment, with granite points extending 100 m seaward on either side, and a small creek draining across the western end of the beach. It receive waves averaging about 1.5 m which break across a 100 m wide surf zone and drain out via strong permanent rip that exits along the lower eastern granite point. The gravel Tennessee Road terminates at a small car park on the eastern slopes overlooking the beach. This is an accessible beach from which to check the surf and reasonably popular with locals.
