Two Peoples Bay beach (WA 374) occupies the eastern shore of the bay and curves for 4.5 km between the steep granite slopes to either end. It faces due east out of the bay mouth and receives waves averaging over 1 m in the centre, decreasing to either end. The waves combine with the fine white sand to maintain a continuous low tide terrace, only cut by rips in the centre during periods of higher waves. The beach is backed by a 10 m high foredune and low vegetated 500 m wide barrier, with Angrove and Gardner lakes occupying the 1 km wide back barrier depression. The Two Peoples Bay access road runs between the two lakes to the beach. Lake Gardner is connects by a small deflected creek to the very southern end of the beach, where seagrass grows to the shore and piles upon the beach.
Beach Length: 4.5km
