It is a curving, north-facing 200 m long beach, bordered by rounded granite points and boulders, with a large boulder also in the centre. A steep narrow valley and creek, the source of the waterfall, crosses the centre of the beach. Waves average about 0.5 m and surge up a moderately steep reflective beach.
