Beach WA 354 lies 100 m away on the western side of the point. It is a more exposed, south-facing 250 m long beach bordered by the point and south-trending 120 m high steep vegetated slopes. Waves averaging up to 2 m break across a 150 m wide surf zone, with a major permanent rip against the eastern rocks, and a small rip against the western bluffs. An active dune is transgressing 200 m across the point to the rear of beach WA 353. Earlier vegetated Holocene dunes have climbed the backing 130 m high eastern slopes and up onto the top of the cliffs and transgressed up to 500 m inland, to the edge of the farmland.
