Beach WA 342 commences at the creek mouth and curves for 5 km to the south-southwest, then south to the mouth of Black Sand Creek. Waves height continues to decrease down the beach averaging less than 1 m in the south. The waves maintain a continuous narrow bar in the north grading into a cusped reflective beach in the south. The beach is backed by both scarped and vegetated 20-30 m high calcarenite bluffs, with considerable bluff debris at the base of the narrow beach. It terminates 300 m south of the creek against a protruding 20 m high bluff. There is vehicle access to along the rear of the beach to both creek mouths.
