Beach WA 345 is located immediately south of the beach, where the bluffs are replaced by a low rocky shore. The 200 m long beach is bounded by the rocks, as well as a central outcrop, with seagrass reaching to within 50 m of the shore. There are a few fishing shacks on the northern boundary bluffs and a council camping and caravan area behind the beach, with the southern end of the beach used to launch small boats. Thirty metre high Cheyne Island lies 1 km off the beach.
