Barrack Point is a low granulite point surrounded by rock platforms. It forms the southern boundary of Storm Bay and is occupied by a foreshore reserve and picnic area, with a large car park extending from the boat ramp onto the point (Fig. 4.126). Between the rocks and the point is a strip of high tide sand (beach WA 607), with the rocks enclosing a 100 m long tidal pool on the southern side of the point, know as Granny Pool. Low waves usually prevail breaking on the outer rocks with calm conditions in the pool.
