Seine Bay (WA 604) is located just inside the Hardy Inlet and curves round to face northeast across the inlet. The beach is sheltered from ocean waves by the two heads and narrow inlet entrance, with low wind wave to calm conditions usually prevailing. The beach curves round for 700 m to the southeast to terminate on the inside of Duke Head. It is fronted by a mixture of migratory tidal sand shoals, and the deeper inlet channel, particularly towards the eastern end of the beach. While conditions are relatively safe at the shore, be very careful of the strong tidal currents, which flow off the beach. The beach is backed by a foreshore reserve, with all facilities, as well as the Turner Street jetty and boat ramp, and a caravan park behind the northern end.
