North Point is a 20-30 m high,, calcarenite-capped granite point that separates the two longer beaches. On the southern side of the point are two arcs in the calcarenite bluffs containing beaches WA 644 and 645. A 4 WD track runs along the top of the cliffs with no safe access down to the beaches. Beach WA 644 is located 100 m north of the rocky end of Boranup beach. It is a 50 m long pocket of sand located at the base of 20 m high calcarenite cliffs. It is fronted by shallow reefs extending over 100 m offshore, with waves averaging less than 1 m at the beach. Beach WA 645 lies 150 m to the west and is a similar 70 m pocket of sand at the base of steep vegetated bluffs. It is bordered by calcarenite to the east and calcarenite-capped granite to the west, with a 100 m wide bar extending off the beach and reefs to either side. Waves averaging over 1 m break over the bar and exit via two small rips to either side.
