Ellensbrook Beach (WA 674) occupies the rocky shore to either side of the mouth of the small Ellen Brook. The beach is 350 m long and consists of a high tide beach fronted by near continuous intertidal calcarenite platform, together with reefs extending up to 100 m offshore. Waves averaging 1.5 m break over the outer reefs, with lower waves at the shore. It s backed by some active blowouts and vegetated foredune, the homestead, then older dunes extending 3 km inland to the Caves Road. Two surf breaks known as Ellensbrook and The Womb are located off the beach.
