Dunn Bay beach (WA 746) commences on the eastern side of the point and trends east for 700 m to a low sandy point. The beach faces northeast and receives only low wind waves, with calm conditions common along the shore. The narrow high tide beach is often covered or backed by seagrass debris and fronted by 200-300 m wide intertidal sand flats (Fig. 4.150), then subtidal seagrass meadows and deeper sand ridges. The beach is backed by a foreshore park in the western corner, then a caravan park and beach cottages.
Beach Length: 0.7km
