Beach WA 698 is a 300 m long high tide sand beach, wedged in between the backing bluffs and irregular platform. The outer reefs lower waves at the shore. Beach WA 699 lies immediately to the north and is a similar 200 m long beach, with deeper offshore reefs and higher waves breaking over the intertidal rocks that shelter the backing beach.
