Beach WA 689 is located 300 m to the north and consists of a 750 m long generally narrow beach, fronted by bedrock and calcarenite platforms to either end, with a central 100 m long open water section. Waves averaging over 1.5 m break over a mixture of reefs to the side and a central bar, with a permanent rip draining out along the northern platform. It is backed by steep, partly vegetated 50 m high bluffs. A vehicle track reaches the top of the northern bluffs, with a steep foot track down to the beach.
