Beaches WA 690 and 691 lie another 50 m to the north. Beach WA 690 is a 30 m long pocket of sand that is wedged in lee of a narrow gap in the granulite platform. The beach widens to the rear where it is backed by steep 50 m high bluffs. Waves break seaward of the platform and surge into the narrow rocky gap to reach the beach. Beach WA 691 lies immediately to the north and is an exposed 300 m long southwest-facing sand beach, bordered in the south by the rock platform, and tied to a small reef and low granulite point to the north. Waves average over 1.5 m and break across a 50 m wide bar and over the rocks and reef, with strong permanent rips forming against the rocks at either end of the beach. It is backed by an unstable foredune and climbing blowout extending 300 m inland and to heights of 60 m. The Cape to Cape walking track runs along the beach.
