Beach WA 707 commences on the northern side of Mitchell's Rock and continues north for 250 m past some attached reefs to a low rocky point. Waves averaging about 1.5 m break over a bar between the rocks and reefs, with permanent rips running out either side of the central reef. It is backed by an unstable climbing foredune in the south and vegetated bedrock slopes to the north. Beach WA 708 lies immediately to the north and is a 150 m long strip of sand at the base of dipping 50 m high granulite bluffs. Waves average over 1.5 m and break across a 70 m wide bar drained by a permanent rip that runs out along the northern rocks.
