Beach WA 505 lies 50 m to the west on the other side of a small gneiss point. It consists of a 150 m long pocket of sand wedged in between the low point and a 100 m wide western point. It also receives waves averaging about 1 m, which break across a low tide terrace. It is backed by steep vegetated dunes rising to 50 m. Beaches WA 506-508 are located along the eastern side of 100 m high Rame Head. They can only be accessed on foot from beach WA 505
