Beach WA 508 extends from the southern rocky point for 200 m to the eastern tip of Rame Head. It faces east and receives waves averaging about 1.5 m, which break across a 100 m wide surf zone, with rocks to either side, and a central permanent rip. To the west of Rame Head are two exposed, 1.5 km wide south-facing embayments containing beaches WA 509-510 and 511-514 respectively, then the curving arc of 10 km long Bellanger Beach (WA 516) that terminates at the mouth of Nornalup Inlet in lee of Rocky Head, 11 km west of Rame Head. All the beaches are backed by generally vegetated transgressive dunes extending 1-3 km inland. The only vehicle access to this part of the national park is a gravel road to Conspicious Beach (WA 512) and 4 WD track to Blue Holes in the centre of Bellanger Beach. Beaches WA 509 and 510 are located in a 900 m wide, southwest-facing open embayment, rimmed by 10 m high steep, vegetated calcarenite slopes with 100 m high Rame Head to the east and a 40 m high head to the west and a central rock reef, which is usually awash.
