Beach WA 448 commences on the western side of the bluffs and continues west for 250 m. It is initially fronted by a continuous beachrock reef, which lies off the beach enclosing a 100 m long tidal pool. The western half of the beach is open and both sections are fronted by a 200-300 m wide surf zone, with rips to either end. It is backed by steep 50 m high vegetated bluffs, with access along the shore from the adjacent beaches.
