Beach WA 483 lies at the base of a 1.5 km long section of steep, vegetated 50-60 m high calcarenite cliffs. The beach is a 50 m patch of high tide sand littered with boulder debris, and fronted by a continuous strip of beachrock reef, then a predominately reef-strewn 100 m wide surf zone, drained by a strong central permanent rip. There is no safe access to the beach.
