Beach WA 485 lies 100 m to the west and is a curving 100 m long pocket of sand located in lee of a 20 m wide gap in the beachrock reef. Waves break across a 100 m wide reef-strewn surf zone seaward of the gap, with a small calm lagoon between the gap and low energy sandy shoreline. The beach is backed by steep, partly vegetated 20 m high dunes and a 4 WD track that continues behind beach WA 486. It is bordered to the west by a small tombolo, with beach WA 486 linking the western side.
