Beach WA 470 is the main 1 km long beach and connects the northern point with the first rocks of Point Hillier. The beach faces east and receives waves averaging 1.5 m in the north, decreasing due to wave refraction, to about 1 m in the south. Three permanent rips and a shore parallel section of beachrock dominate the northern 100 m wide surf zone, with a 50 m wide low tide terrace to the south. The northern rip is located below the 4WD access point and is the strongest of the rips.
Beach Length: 1km
