Beaches WA 473 and 474 are neighbouring 200 m long strips of sand, separated by a central outcrop composed of an elevated beachrock platform, with an active platform extending seaward. Both are bordered and partly fronted by beachrock points and reefs, with waves breaking over the reef and bars extending up to 100 m seaward. A permanent rip exits from beach WA 474. A 4 WD track descends the densely vegetated sloping dunes to reach the rear of beach WA 473.
