Rock reefs and a low gneiss point extend to either side of the 100 m wide outer surf zone with a permanent rip draining out the centre of the small embayment. It is backed by a blowout, then older vegetated dunes that have transgressed 1 km across the rear of the point to the Peaceful Bay shore.
