Green Pool (WA 462) is the main beach located 100 m west of the car park. It is a 750 m long south-facing beach that is afforded protection from a string of granite rocks and reefs extending up to 500 m offshore. The protection is greatest in the east where a relatively calm ‘green’ pool lies between the steep reflective beach and the rocks. Wave height increases slowly to the west, where a combination of low tide terrace and rocks form the shore William Bay is a 6 km wide south to southeast-facing exposed embayment bordered by 20 m high Edward Point to the east and 160 m high Point Hillier to the west. The shoreline is dominated by rocks to either end, with a central more sandy section occupied by the Mazzoletti and Parry beaches (WA 463-457). The shoreline and beaches between Edward Point and Parry Inlet are located within the national park. The only vehicle access is in the west along the Parry Road to the mouth of the inlet and Parry Beach.
