Lights Beach (WA 456) is a steep 150 m long reflective beach, with waves averaging about 1 m, which produce a heavy surging shorebreak. Deeper water lies off the beach, with two granite reefs 50-100 m offshore, with other reefs and islets further out. Madfish Bay occupies the next embayment. The bay and its three beaches (WA 457-459) are all located to the lee of a 500 m long, shore-parallel granite islet. The islet and other rocks and reef shelter the beaches with waves averaging less than 1 m at the shore.
