Beach WA 459 lies 300 m to the west and 100 m inside a gap in the rocks, into which flows a small rocky stream. The 50 m wide beach consists of exposed high tide sand and intertidal sand and creek flats, with rocks dominating the shoreline. Waves are very low to usually calm. A central car park and walking tracks lead to all three beaches. On the western side of Edward Point is a 2 km long section of granite shoreline dominated by massive sloping granite rocks and boulders and backed by moderately sloping dune-draped slopes. Three beaches occupy this section, two small pockets of sand (WA 460 & 461) and the longer Green Pool (WA 462). Access to the three beaches is via the Green Pool car park, with a 400 walk to Smooth Pool and 100 m walk to Elephant Rocks Beach.
