The main Mazzoletti Beach (WA 464) is a slightly curving south to southeast-facing sandy beach, bordered by the sandy foreland to the east and the narrow entrance to Parry Inlet in the west. It receives waves averaging up to 2 m, particularly in the central-east, which break across a 150 m wide surf zone usually dominated by ten beach rips, the waves and rips decreasing slightly to the east. Vegetated transgressive dunes extend up to 2 km inland in lee of both beaches. The national park occupies a narrow strip along the beach and foredune, with private land behind, including one private residence. A few informal 4 WD tracks reach the beach, which is otherwise inaccessible by car. Parry Inlet is a 10 ha coastal lagoon, feed by the Kordabup River. It breaks out across the junction of Mazzoletti and Parry beaches during the winter rains.
