Mazzoletti Beach consists of two parts (WA 463 & 464). Beach WA 463 occupies the eastern 700 m of the beach and is a curving, south-facing, moderately exposed beach. It is tied to low granite rocks that separate it from Green Pool in the east and a sandy cuspate foreland formed in lee of granite reefs in the west. Rocks and reefs also lie off and along parts of the beach and lower waves to about 1.5 m at the shore. The waves maintain a 70 m wide surf zone, dominated by three permanent reef-controlled rips. As the waves pick up so does the surf, with reef, then beach breaks extending west to Parry Inlet.
