Beach WA 453 lies 200 m west of Waterfall Beach and is a 100 m long south-facing beach wedged in between low sloping granite points, with a narrow line of granite down the centre dividing it in two. Waves averaging 1.5 m break over granite reefs, 100 m off the beach , while the rip from Waterfall Beach flows between the reefs and past the beach. The beach can only be accessed along the shoreline from Lights Beach or Madfish Bay. Beaches WA 454-456 are three small adjoining beaches located in a 500 m wide southeast-facing, reef-strewn embayment. There is a gravel road to a car park behind the western Lights Beach (WA 456), which provides foot access along the shore to the adjoining beaches.
