Beach WA 336 commences on the western side of the 500 m long granite point and continues west for 900 m, to a low rocky point. Rocks and reefs are also located off either end of the beach. It receives waves averaging about 1.5 m, which maintain a 50 m wide rip-dominated surf zone containing two central beach rips and permanent rips to either end. It is backed by steep 70 m high, vegetated calcarenite bluffs. Beaches WA 337 and 338 are located between two low gneiss points, with a central attached reef separating the two beaches.
