Pallinup Beach (WA 326) is the western extension of beaches WA 324 and 325, commencing as the beachrock creases. The sandy 2.2 km long beach curves increasingly to the south and blocks the mouth of Beaufort Inlet, a 400 ha lagoon that is feed by the Pallinup River. The beach terminates at the base of scarped vegetated 20 m high bluffs, adjacent to the northern rocks of Groper Bluff. Waves average 1 m in the north decreasing to the south, as a 50 m wide bar cut by occasional rips gives way to a continuous low tide terrace. The beach is backed by the low overwashed inlet mouth, then the bluffs, with vehicle access to either side of the mouth, and several shacks located towards the southern end of the beach. Groper Bluff is a 50 m high 1 km long south-facing gneiss headland, with 4 km of generally east-facing steep rocky shore lying between the bluff and the southern end of Pallinup Beach. Five small rock controlled beaches (WA 327-331) are located along this section, with vehicle access to two of the beaches.
