Short Beach (WA 309) lies 1 km to the south and is a 500 m long east-facing beach bordered and backed by steeply rising vegetated slopes and headlands. A rock reef lies about 50 m off shore and parallels most of the beach, resulting in low waves at shore and a steep reflective beach. A gravel rocks descends the southern slopes to a beachfront car park at the end of the beach.
