Trigelow Beach (WA 297) commences 4 km south of Point Ann, at the end of the Cheadanup Cliffs, and curves gently to the south-southwest for 11.4 km to the usually blocked mouth of Gordon Inlet. The inlet also marks the southern boundary of the national park. The beach receives waves that are slightly reduced by refraction around Hood Point, to average about 1.5 m. These break across a low gradient white sand beach and 100 m wide surf zone, usually cut by rips every 400 m. The beach is backed by a 200-300 m wide field of generally vegetated foredune-blowouts. The small Boondadup River breaks out 2 km down the beach, while the larger Gordon Inlet forms the southern boundary. There is vehicle access to the north end of the beach from the Point Ann road.
Beach Length: 11.4km
General Hazard Rating: 6/10
