Hush Hush Beach (WA 524) occupies the centre of the embayment. It is a relatively straight 1.4 km long southwest-facing high energy beach fronted by a 300 m wide rip-dominated surf zone, and backed by continuous cliffs rising to 120 m. The beach is narrow and in places eroded back to the base of the rock-littered slopes
