Beach WA 529 lies 500 m to the west and is an 80 m pocket of sand wedged in a gap in the 100 m high calcarenite cliffs. The cliff narrows to the rear and the beach is littered in cliff debris. It is fronted by a 300 m wide surf zone, with a strong rip running out against the eastern rocks, The surf zone continues unbroken for 4 km to Mandalay Beach
