Beach WA 530 is a 300 m long strip of sand located at the base of the 100 m high cliffs. It protrudes slightly to the west in lee of a calcarenite reef, with some rocks also littering either end of the beach. The 300 m wide surf zone continues the length of the beach, with a permanent rip originating from the lee of the reef to drain out the centre of the surf.
